Compensation Structure and Definitions:
Monetary contribution is paid through grant funds and donations.
LG Coin payout is used for internal economy and trading services within the cooperative.
Barter involves exchanging services between community members (e.g., art for social media management).
Time banking allows individuals to accumulate hours through community service and redeem them for skills or services.
Project Management and Coordination Roles:
The Program Coordinator oversees the entire project, ensures deliverables are met. Compensation includes monetary (grant funds), LG Coin, and time banking for community hours.
The Administrative Support role assists with documentation, reporting, and compliance with fiscal sponsorship requirements, compensated through LG Coin, barter (services exchanged), and time banking.
The Finance and Accounting Specialist manages budget tracking, grant disbursement, and financial reporting, compensated with monetary (from grant budget), LG Coin, and time banking for internal financial training.
The Legal Advisor or Compliance Officer ensures adherence to grant regulations, prepares contracts, and agreements. This role is Pro Bono.
Creative and Content Roles:
The Lead Artist develops and directs creative content and is compensated with monetary (from grant funds), LG Coin, barter (artwork exchange), and time banking (creative workshops).
Supporting Artists (Video, Graphic Design, Journalism) create visual and audio content for storytelling, compensated with LG Coin, monetary (stipends), barter (art services exchange), and time banking (skill-sharing sessions).
The Content Curator or Editor reviews and organizes content for digital platforms, compensated with LG Coin, monetary, and barter (editing services).
The Social Media Manager handles online presence, posts updates, and engages with followers, compensated with LG Coin, monetary, barter (social media workshops), and time banking (community engagement).
Community Engagement and Outreach Roles:
The Community Liaison builds relationships with local partners and is compensated with LG Coin, barter (promotional services), and time banking (community hours).
The Volunteer Coordinator recruits and manages volunteers involved in storytelling events, compensated with LG Coin and time banking (coordinating volunteer training).
The Event Host or Facilitator leads storytelling sessions and community discussions, compensated with LG Coin, barter (hosting workshops), and time banking.
Technical and Media Production Roles:
The Audio or Visual Technician manages sound and video recordings, compensated with monetary (project-based), LG Coin, and barter (technical support exchange).
The Web Developer or Content Manager handles the project website, uploads content, and maintains updates, compensated with monetary, LG Coin, and barter (website maintenance for other community projects).
The Digital Archivist organizes and stores media content for future reference, compensated with LG Coin and time banking (data management training).
Educational and Capacity Building Roles:
The Workshop Facilitator conducts storytelling and media training for community members, compensated with LG Coin, time banking (skill-building classes), and barter (collaborative workshops).
The LG Guru/Coach for Emerging Artists supports artists in developing storytelling skills, compensated with LG Coin, time banking (mentorship hours), and barter (knowledge exchange).
Evaluation and Reporting Roles:
The Impact Analyst measures the project’s reach, engagement, and community impact, compensated with LG Coin, monetary (for evaluation reports), and barter (data analysis exchange).
The Mutual Aid and Grants Compliance Officer ensures all reports and documentation meet Metro Arts requirements, compensated with monetary (from grant) and time banking (compliance workshops).
Cooperative and Governance Roles:
The Governance Facilitator coordinates the multi-stakeholder cooperative model, ensuring fair representation, compensated with LG Coin and time banking (facilitating governance meetings).
The Membership Coordinator manages community members’ roles and contributions, compensated with LG Coin and barter (membership engagement activities).
The Conflict Resolution Specialist helps mediate issues between cooperative members, compensated with time banking (conflict resolution training) and barter (mediation services).
