Accessibility and Inclusion at Liberated Grounds
At Liberated Grounds, we are deeply committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all community members. Our mission is to celebrate and uplift diverse voices by ensuring accessibility for individuals of all abilities. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to participate fully in our events, programs, and experiences.
Wheelchair Accessibility
All Liberated Grounds venues are designed with accessibility in mind. Our spaces, including historic and modern settings, are fully wheelchair accessible. Ramps and elevators are strategically placed to facilitate easy movement throughout our event spaces. For added convenience, designated accessible parking spots are available near all entrances.
Accessible Facilities
We prioritize accessibility at every level of our programming. Accessible restrooms are provided at all event locations, and our festival grounds are thoughtfully arranged to accommodate wheelchairs and mobility devices. Our booths and exhibition areas feature wide aisles to ensure smooth navigation for all attendees.
Disability Accommodations for Artists
We recognize the unique needs of artists and provide tailored support to ensure full participation. Our team offers assistance with booth setup and breakdown, provides adaptive equipment and resources upon request, and reserves accessible parking for participating artists. Additionally, we create quiet spaces for artists who may need sensory breaks during events.
Sign Language Interpretation
To ensure inclusivity, American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters are available for workshops, panel discussions, and performances upon request. We encourage participants to reach out to us at least two weeks in advance to schedule an interpreter for specific sessions.
Support for Neurodiverse Individuals
At Liberated Grounds, we understand the importance of creating sensory-friendly environments. Quiet zones are available for attendees who need a calm space away from crowds. Our staff and volunteers receive training to support individuals with sensory sensitivities and other neurodiverse needs, ensuring everyone feels safe and comfortable.
